You'll maintain and repair grading and authentication equipment used across Collectors' global operations, keeping the machinery running smoothly for processing millions of collectibles including trading cards, autographs, and memorabilia. Equipment Maintenance Technician
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure quality production
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop and track PM schedules for process machinery in the facility
- Perform unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks when the need arises
- Perform machine upgrades and testing
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production to implement maintenance logs, best practices, and operator-led maintenance tasks
- Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvements
- Work with cross-functional groups to determine standard maintenance procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
You'll report to the Sr. Manager of Operations Engineering and work from our Santa Ana, CA office and warehouses. We're looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Mechanical Engineering team to assist with preventative maintenance tasks, unplanned maintenance, machine upgrades, and other tasks related to process machinery, including mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of proven experience as a maintenance tech
- Written and verbal communication skills for both Japanese and English (B1 above is preferred)
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplying & dividing)
- Basic computer skills (email, Google suite, Microsoft)
- Advanced hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude
- Familiarity with industrial automation and factory equipment
- Curious and seeks to learn new processes and systems, ask questions to ensure understanding
- Takes direction well
- Attention to detail

- Ability to work in a deadline sensitive environment
Physical Requirements
- Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting
- Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time
- Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise, which may include noise from forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery
- Hand Use: Power gripping when using low-precision, high-impact hand tools that require significant force, such as hammer drills and torque wrenches
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Temperature and Humidity: Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity
- Walking: Ability to walk for long periods
