The ideal candidate will be both strategic and execution-oriented—comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while bridging global HR strategy with local market execution—ensuring that enterprise-wide programs (e.g., performance management, employee experience, and talent processes) are effectively implemented and thoughtfully localized for the APAC region. This role will act as a critical partner to business leaders and employees, driving excellence across performance management, employee relations, compensation support, and HR operations.

  • Identify opportunities to standardize and scale HR processes across APAC in partnership with global teams
  • Lead rollout and execution of performance management processes across APAC, including performance reviews and performance improvement plans
  • Provide coaching to managers on performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness

Compensation & Benefits Support

  • Partner closely with U.S.-based Compensation COE to support market benchmarking, job leveling, and salary structure alignment across APAC
  • Assist in implementing global compensation and benefits programs, partnering with U.S. COEs to ensure alignment while localizing for APAC market practices
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll, benefits, and statutory requirements, while aligning global policies and governance frameworks

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including performance issues, employee concerns, and workplace investigations
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including contract management, internal mobility, and offboarding
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support local employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms
  • Partner with U.S. HR team to drive programs that enhance employee experience, culture, and retention
  • Act as a voice of the employee, proactively identifying and addressing workplace concerns

What we're looking for

  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist or HRBP experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • English and Mandarin fluency
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices across performance management, employee relations, and compensation
  • Experience working in multi-country or complex organizational environments preferred
  • Solid understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR risk management
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
