Job Details
You'll receive, sort, and process daily mail at Collectors' Jersey City facility, opening packages, itemizing items by service type, verifying payments, and entering data while matching physical collectibles to orders. This temp-to-hire position involves contacting customers about problem orders, coordinating with sales on special pricing deals, and working in a fast-paced team environment handling coins, trading cards, Funko Pops, autographs, and memorabilia.

The Role
We're looking for a Receiver to join our Receiving team to receive, separate, and open mail daily. This role is based out of our new Jersey City facility.
What You'll Do
- Open, separate, and itemize department's mail by service type
- Match, count, and check items/Autographs
- Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility
- Enter items and print stickers
- Contact Customers to resolve Problem Orders
- Work with Sales Department for orders that have special deals and/or pricing
Who You Are
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You have the ability to work in a team environment
- You can prioritize all tasks and work in a fast-paced work environment
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Google programs
- Knowledge on Pop culture, Sports (Vintage all the way to current modern) TCG (Pokémon, MTG, etc.) is encouraged
Physical Requirements
- Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
- Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
- Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up 50 lbs.
- Receiving and Inspecting Submissions: Ability to receive, and in some departments inspect, submissions. Ability to use a sharp blade and retrieve submissions from packaging.
- Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Compensation
The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $17. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
