Werkstudent position at Chrono24 where you independently handle modeling and analysis projects using marketplace data, applying skills in feature engineering, statistical modeling, and data preparation across multiple systems. You'll collaborate with product, analytics, and tech teams to deliver data-driven insights while advising stakeholders, requiring strong foundations in statistics, Python or R, SQL, and practical experience with quantitative methods like regression and ensemble models.
About the Role
What You Can Look Forward To
You will independently take on various modeling and analysis projects, utilizing our marketplace data and your solid methodological knowledge. You will prepare data from different systems and effectively apply your feature engineering skills. When implementing statistical models and model prototypes, you place great emphasis on their practical applicability. You conduct statistically sound analyses and simulations, working closely with our product managers, analytics team, and technology team. You advise other teams and support them in making their products even more successful through intelligent use of data.
What Sets You Apart
- Your studies focus on statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, or physics.
- You possess excellent knowledge of statistics and modeling and are ideally also familiar with econometrics.
- You have already gained practical experience in data preparation, feature engineering, quantitative methods, and multivariate data analysis.
- Terms like confidence interval, bootstrapping, time series, logistic regression, decision tree, or random forest are very familiar to you.
- You master at least one data science language such as R or Python as well as SQL, are tech-savvy, and have experience with Excel.
- You communicate complex matters clearly and understandably and have very good German and good English language skills.
- Application and results orientation as well as curiosity and precision round out your profile.
